Now that the time has changed, it was time to get back to Trailer Canyon! When I ran with the Coyotes, we ran Trailer Canyon as a strength/climbing workout. How far can you get in the time allotted? That was the workout.
Last week when I ran it, I was excited to be there again and felt strong on the run. I wanted to at least get to the place where Trailer meets Temescal Canyon. The sign said 2.2 miles. I love learning how all of the trails connect.
We somehow passed the connection to Temescal but kept going and got a beautiful view of the ocean and the city! Wow!
There was a gorgeous view in every direction.
We saw another hill and ventured to the top and found these steps! We soaked in the view for a bit and tried to see if our friends were calling or needed us since we were a little ahead. We didn’t see them and they hadn’t called so we had some fun with the phone that we were storing in my HydraQuiver.
We had fun too much fun at the top!
We had to enjoy this beautiful moment!
We headed back–downhill all the way down!
On the way back, I saw where Temescal meets Trailer and saw this sign for the trail back. We got in 6.7 miles and it was a really beautiful run! It’s challenging and fun. I can’t wait to run it again!
