My first week of winter break was full of holiday runs and lots of eating! Good thing I was running with all of the eating I was doing, too.
Tuesday was a nice walk with running friends at Candy Cane Lane in Torrance. We had planned on running but it was too crowded to run.
I still got in a 2 mile walk so this was great!
Wednesday was a Pali Stair workout with Holly. We did 3 loops of the stairs and it felt great!
It was tough but I needed it. My goal is to do Pali Stairs at least once each week during my vacation.
Wednesday evening was Gingerbread Day with my godsons! We decorate gingerbread people every year. We crafted, too! Super fun! (Not running related but holiday related!)
Thursday was the Coyote run at Will Rogers! Read about it here!
Saturday was a trail run at Temescal Canyon. More new trails and I had to crawl up on steep section! Read about it here!
I got in great runs but should have logged more miles. I finished the week with 20.23 miles. I will ramp up next week. I also worked on a schedule for my next 50k. It was a productive week overall with running, friends, family and celebrating! I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life.
